"Ssan-Schpar-Eil"

Had an interesting weekend. Got lost in the forest twice. Interestingly, both times with AC... although at least one of the cases was my... er... responsibility.

Seen Sanspareil ("Ssan-Schpar-Eil") rock garden on Sat. Included were tomatoes (also called "Liebesäpfel" in ancient German, for the record), Safari-style walks, and getting lost in the forest (as promised above).

On Sun, there was a hiking walk in Hochtheta scheduled. It took some time to find this Hochtheta - no decent map was showing this town. Townlet. Village. Whatever.
Had some local beer there and a walk in the forest. AC claimed she knows the way. We got lost. We found a balloon from a wedding ceremony game on the ground - attached was a card to be sent back, belonging to a game where the sender has to fulfill some task when the card really makes it back to the newly-weds. We helped somebody to a full week of washing laundry for them.
